Sounds like the typical Scotlund Haisley/HSUS tactics were applied in Mississippi. I have a questions, you said that there was a vet (singular) on site and that 134 roosters were killed. If it takes 5 mintues to kill one bird humanely, it would take over 11 hours for one vet to do all of that. I just have to wonder if members of HSUS were helping to kill these birds? If so, what were their qualifications? Does Mississippi require a person using controlled drugs to have a special certification in the state to euthanize animals? Has anyone looked into the legality of this? Listening to your shows regarding HSUS, I seriously doubt that they worried if their actions in this regard were legal. Someone should contact this vet to see what went on there and, if the actions were not legal, let the authorities know.

I would just like make one note on the broadcast. I worked under Scotlund Haisley for a while. At the end of your show you mentioned that Scott Wilson went out with others to do an assessment. Scott tried as much as he could to control some of Scotlund Haisley's actions and protect some members of the group from Scotlund Haisley's excesses. I wasn't in Mississippi but if Scott was sent out to do an assessment (which could even be untrue) he was probably constrained on what he could and couldn't do by Scotlund Haisley and Wayne Pacelle.
