The Carroll Cox Show - 11/28/10

Carroll's guest, J. Thomas Steinmetz,  is head of the Hawaii Tourism Association, a private company set up to monitor and promote Hawaii tourism.  His association  is having problems working with the state run Hawaii Tourism Authority in promoting tourism in Europe and globally.  Steinmetz is also publisher of eTurboNews, an online global travel news service.

During the second hour Carroll talks about  ethic complaints filed against a city employee, Ms. Patty Teruya, who is also secretary of Waimanalo Construction Coalition, a non-profit organization.   We are questioning  how she paid personal rent from grant funds received from the city.  She was also part of the city's approval process for the grant.   Others have also filed various complaints but she still works for the city.  We are asking why.

Teruya has filed for Apo's city council seat.  Voters - let's do what ethic Commission won't do.  We will not tolerate corruption!
